Program Overview

About the Rutgers Design Intensives

The Rutgers Design Intensives seek to develop skills in graphic design for motivated high school artists. Created and supervised by Mason Gross School of the Arts faculty, the curricula focus on core principles of each print and interactive design while introducing relevant software. New in 2019, MGED is offering two separate back to back intensives to allow even more focused study! These courses each include extensive studio work, technical demonstrations, group critiques, and a field trip to New York City. Participants in the intensives use the top-notch computer lab facilities in the Department of Visual Arts at the Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University.
